greatest rivalry in sports is between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. The rivalry has lasted over 100 years and has brought some of the most exciting moments in sports.
However, lately the rivalry has felt watered down and almost gone. Between the friendliness of certain players and lack of intensity from the managers, the rivalry has struggled. Players like David Ortiz, Robinson Cano, Derek Jeter and Dustin Pedroia have friendships that hinder the rivalry from being what it could be.
