The Yankees won a easy one after a seven-run seventh inning. Emergency starter Dustin Moseley pitched pretty well before that, holding the Yankees to a 3-1 lead through six innings. The final score was 11-4 .

Moseley pitched well enough to earn himself another start : 6 IP, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO. The game was such a laugher that Marcus Thames played third base and Nick Swisher struck out against a third baseman . The biggest embarrassment on the night: Chan Ho Park .
