Just a reminder, A.J. Burnett, Javier Vazquez and Chad Gaudin will all participate in a simulated game today. The Yankees are hoping that Burnett can build up some confidence more than anything else today. Yankees Brian Cashman was happy that the Rangers/Rays series went five games because now Cliff Lee won’t pitch until Game 3 and 7 if necessary while their guys are rested and lined up perfectly.
