New York Yankees acquired Ichiro Suzuki on Monday afternoon in what, at first glance, appears to be a savvy move by the Bombers’ general manager, Brian Cashman.
The move gives the Yankees a proven, veteran outfielder with speed, even at the age of 38, and a solid defensive presence in the outfield.
