Hirsh has impressed the Yankees staff since joining the organization. Last season he put up a 1.35 ERA in 26.2 innings at Triple-A Scranton and pitched well in 3.2 innings over four relief appearances this spring. Earlier this season Hirsh said he’s finally healthy and is pitching up to his abilities. He’ll likely start the season in the Scranton rotation.
