Report: New York Yankees Mark Teixeira out 8-10 Weeks with Wrist Injury

not even April yet and the Bronx Bombers are getting decimated by injuries already.

Unfortunately, the New York Yankees just got even more bad news on Wednesday.

According to Andy McCullough of the Newark Star Ledger, Yankees first basemen Mark Teixeira will be out eight to10 weeks due to a sprained tendon in his wrist.

 

Teixeira will miss eight to 10 weeks, Girardi said. He has a strained wrist.

Teixeira felt discomfort in his wrist after batting practice at the World Baseball Classic, but was removed from the United States team and sent back for more testing.
