New York Yankees Spoil MLB Debut in 9-4 Win over the Detroit Tigers

Casey Crosby made his major league debut on Friday night against the Yankees and, unfortunately for him, it didn't go as planned.

Crosby, who was trying to become the fourth lefty in the last 30 years to beat the Yankees in his major league debut, fell victim to the Yankees big bats.

Crosby lasted just 3.1 innings, allowing six runs on four hits and four walks.

After a bases-loaded walk to Derek Jeter in the second inning, Curtis Granderson touched up Crosby with a grand slam deep into the right field seats.

The Yankees scored another run off of Crosby before he departed in the sixth, then added another singular run in the eighth.
