Obviously this is good news that Jeter is back in the lineup today, but the Yankees are counting on production from him and a few days on the bench might not be the worst thing in the world.
Jeter’s offense has been inconsistent this season. Over his past 11 games he has a .170 batting average with a .590 OPS. Maybe a few days on the bench wouldn’t be the worst thing for him. ...
