Final update of the night: Arizona president Derrick Hall has confirmed that the Yankees are one of “a few teams” it is talking to about Dan Haren. He also said there is no front runner and other clubs have made offers “of at least equal value” to the Yankees' offer.
Update 10:54: Now we’re hearing that a deal is “not that close” and that other teams are still in on Haren, according to Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports.
