Pineda's career with the New York Yankees has been slowed by injuries. The right-hander is on the disabled list once again with a forearm issue that Marly Rivera of ESPN Deportes first reported as forearm tightness, an ailment that will keep him out for the foreseeable future.

Pineda Will Not Pitch in August

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman confirmed the news on Pineda, saying he was "hoping" the pitcher could return in September, via Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.
