off, A-Rod was removed from today's game just as a precaution, according to Joe Girardi. "Just being cautious," Girardi told the media after the game . "With the little bit of rain, I just thought it made sense." A-Rod also said he feels "really good."
Regardless, Girardi will remain cautious as the Yankees head out west for a couple interleague matchups against the Diamondbacks and Dodgers, and plans to look at both players as day-to-day. Here's more from Chad Jennings :
