No, I'm not just referring Wednesday night's matchup between the two American League East teams, in which David Robertson was on the mound. It's also the exact same scenario that happened to Mariano Rivera on Opening Day this season.
Yes, even Mariano Rivera has blown a save against the Rays this year.
The Yankees are 15-2 this season when taking a lead into the final inning of the game. Both of those loses have come against the division-leading Rays.
