Andy Pettitte Surpassing CC Sabathia as New York Yankees Ace

was unthinkable at the start of the 2012 season, but CC Sabathia might not be the New York Yankees best pitcher anymore thanks to Andy Pettitte and the dominance he's displayed since coming out of retirement.

On Tuesday night, Pettitte went 7.1 innings without allowing a run and only surrendered two hits while striking out 10.

The Yankees haven't seen the type of dominance that Pettitte is displaying from the pitcher who's paid to be their ace. However, it seems for the Bombers, Sabathia has become the "poor man's" ace in regards to pitchers of a fellow title around the league.

Guys like Clayton Kershaw, Justin Verlander and Jered Weaver amongst others are simply on another level than that of Sabathia's robust 3.68 ERA and WHIP comparable ...
