New York Yankees Prospect Andrew Brackman Promoted to Double-A

style="text-align: justify;">According to Josh Norris of the Trentonian , the Yankees have promoted their 2007 first-round draft pick RHP Andrew Brackman to Double-A Trenton and he will start tonight.

I’ve written about Brackman recently , as he seems to have turned a corner in his development. He’s pitched in 12 games this season with a 5-4 record and a 5.10 ERA, but he has pitched better as the season has progressed to the point of domination at High-A Tampa. His last start was actually a rough one, but before that he had won five times in six games and recently struck out 11 in six innings.
